Hospice Care Volunteers Needed - Bayside has an AWESOME opportunity of ministry to those that are in Hospice care.  Hospice is in dire need of volunteers to drop by and visit patients, read the Bible, bring them a note of encouragement or just be a friend.  There is also a need for special project items such as making blankets and throws to meet their physical needs.  Please contact Chris Coats at 987-2423 for more information.

 The PrayZChoir (student choir) is planning a trip to New Mexico May 31-June 8, 2013.  There are a handful of students that are in need of help financially to go on this tour.  Please prayerfully consider financially supporting 1 or more students for $250 each to go to New Mexico this summer.  If you have any questions, please contact Chris Coats 987-2423 or Beverly at the music/missions office at 344-8327.  Thank you in advance.

Short-Term Mission Trip to Italy – October 19-26, 2013.  (Hamilton Co. Schools Fall Break).  $1,550.00 per person.  Contact Chris Coats at 987-2423 for additional information.

Senior Adult Ministry

Day Trip to Scottsboro’s Downtown Square Trade Day - Monday,     May 6, 2013 — lunch at McCutchen’s Magnolia House (Southern cuisine in one of the town’s oldest Victorian homes) and bargain hunting at the famous Unclaimed Baggage.  Cost is $5.00.  Lunch on your own at Magnolia House (average for meat, 2 veggies, including drink is $7.58 total).  Travel by church bus.  Limited seating.  Payment of $5 to Jennifer in the main office reserves seat.  Bus leaves church at 8:00 a.m. with plans to be back before 6:00 p.m.

Children’s Worship – Sunday mornings during 10:15 a.m. service

Vacation Bible School – June 17-21, 2013.  Register now at www.baysidebaptist.org.  Volunteers are needed.  Turn in a Communication Card with your contact information for Miss Laura.

Centri Kid Camp – July 1-5, at Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, AL.  Cost is $312 per person, and a $50 deposit is now due.  Partial scholarships are available.  Please contact Miss Laura for additional info.

MDO is enrolling for SUMMER and offering a Day Camp for kids who have completed Kindergarten – 5^th grade.  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., May 28 - August 1^st.  See Kerri Henegar for more information.

Play Late and Spend the Night @ Playside – Friday, May 24, 7:00 p.m. until Saturday morning, May 25, at 8:00 a.m. Limited to the first 50 kids to sign up.

W.A.L.K. End of the Year Celebration – For all ages!  Age 3 – Grade 5 and their families in the Student Center Upstairs.  This afternoon 4:30 – 5:45 p.m.  Pizza will be served and awards will be given.

MSM Small Group Leaders’ Meeting – Sunday, May 19, 4:30 p.m. in Room MS-103.

MSM/HSM - service projects 6/11 and 6/13 9am - 2:30 pm.  Bring money for fast food lunch.

MSM VBS – June 17-21, 8:45 - noon.  Optional trips on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to Sir Gooney's, Hamilton Skate Place, and Holiday Bowl for $10 each or $25 for all three.  Students bring a sack lunch on days they go on trips.
