Pastor, Bayside Baptist Church………………1972 to 2004 

Bayside Baptist Church began as a ministry outreach of the East Chattanooga Baptist Church in January 1972, with Bro. Bob Stitts as pastor.
 

Over the next eighteen months, the Lord blessed in a might way, and in June of 1973, with over 300 charter members, Bayside was constituted into a church.
 

Bayside continued to grow and to reach others for the kingdom of God under the leadership of Bro. Bob, who served as pastor for over 32 years.  Bayside Baptist Church is grateful to the Lord for bringing Bro. Bob Stitts to Chattanooga and for placing a burning desire in his heart to a part of starting a new church.
