In the WALK ministry, children experience singing, playing instruments, drama, and creative movement. It is our prayer that all children come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. After doing this, we pray the children will grow to walk daily with their Lord, living lives which show honor and praise to glorify Him. It is our desire to help equip children with various ways in which they can worship the Lord so that they continue to worship Him for a lifetime.
Safety of the children in the WALK ministry is a priority. Parents must sign a form indicating how you would like your child dismissed at the end of the WALK rehearsals. We want to make sure your child is dismissed in a safe and age appropriate manner. The well begin of your children is our first priority. We want your child to be committed to the WALK, but please do not send a sick child to rehearsal. We must think of the well-being of all the children involved. Rehearsal begins at 4:45 p.m.
Please remember teachers are preparing their classrooms between 4:15 and 4 4:45. In order to be considerate of the teachers; preparation time, please do not drop off your children for the WALK before 4:45 p.m. Please pick up your child promptly at 5:45 p.m. so that our teachers can get to the evening service on time.

We strongly believe that hymns are great tools to teach children about our faith. Each month, through a program called Hymn Treasures, children will learn a new hymn. A book/CD combo pack is available ($6) to help children learn the hymns. Children who memorize 7 hymns will be recognized at the end of the year with an award. We will work on these in class, but parents are STRONGLY encouraged to assist in learning these hymns at home
